Hi Helge,
That is a tough question :) that's why I took my time answering and tried to self-observe myself when drawing #060. I'm not sure whether it is a special pattern, but I always first outline what I want to draw with a pencil, starting with the head - basically a big circle. then I decide which way the character will be facing (side, up, down..), ahd what kind of posture would be best to express his current state (is he angry, unimpressed, scared?) and draw a cross onto the circle according to that, with the cross-section in the middle of the face. the rest of the body is based on an egg-shape, then I draw circles where the joints are and connect it all up. I don't know if this was helpful to you, but I will gladly show it to you on paper if we should meet somewhere :) |

Hi, i have to say that i enjoy your works a lot.
Maybe i can ask you something?
I'm really impressed by the way how your figures look like. (Especially Rei)...How are you draing them..Is there a special pattern which you follow if you draw your figures and if yes could you tell me how i can draw single figures myself? |
